Military families are an integral part of our communities. They face unique realities: frequent moves, separation from a parent, isolation, rapid adaptation to new environments, etc. These transitions, often invisible to civilian stakeholders, can affect their well-being and access to services.

The MFRC of the Montreal region wants to equip community organizations like yours to better understand and welcome this clientele. That's why we invite you to participate in our certified program, "Military, veterans and families: welcome!"

By becoming a certified organization, you will benefit from:

• Free trainingtailored to your reality and led by members of our intervention team or community specialists;

• An official "Military, veterans and families: welcome!" certification logoto display in your communications and premises;  

• Increased visibility within our military networkand among families living in your region;  

• An update every three yearsto renew your certification and keep your knowledge current.

Terms and conditions:

• Training is available in person or virtually;

• No prior knowledge of the military environment is required, only curiosity and a desire to better serve a clientele that is often discreet but very much present.
