The Psychosocial Intake Service of the Montreal Region MFRC is the initial point of contact to receive an assessment of your needs related to a situation that you, your partner, or a family member are experiencing.
Following this first contact, you will be referred to our intervention services (social workers and specialized educators). If needed, a referral to an appropriate community resource may also be offered, depending on the nature of your request.
The Psychosocial Intake Worker offers a compassionate ear, personalized support, and guidance toward the services and resources that can truly help you — all in complete confidentiality.
Every family is unique and faces its own challenges. Remember, you are not alone. A simple phone call or email is all it takes to begin the process.
Services offered include:
- Psychosocial consultations
- Needs assessment
- Online health care services
- Health access guide
- Courtesy and comfort calls
- Emotional support
- And more
